Quest:
an earlier chapter.

My previous website included research information and questionnaires about emotional intelligence and early maladaptive schemas. This page preserves the context of that work.

What was Quest?

The original Quest page introduced research questionnaires about childhood experiences and early maladaptive schemas. It offered short and long versions, with language options including English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Afrikaans.

It described questionnaires as research instruments rather than therapy or diagnosis, and outlined voluntary participation and anonymous responses.

Archive notice: This replacement is an informational archive only. The original interactive questionnaires, their data collection and any associated WordPress functionality are not included in this static website package. Do not enter questionnaire responses here. The previous website backup should be retained separately.

Why preserve it?

Our interests evolve, but earlier questions still belong to our story. Emotional intelligence and our ability to understand ourselves and others remain part of my interest in the human side of learning.

This is educational and historical content, not a clinical assessment or mental-health service. Questions about mental health should be directed to a qualified professional.
